Goodbye 2016, Hello 2017

2016 flew by! As we wrap up the year, we want to share our end of year thoughts and ideas for 2017 with you.

Scribe’s key accomplishments in 2016

  1. Expanded Charting. This area grew from a glimmer in our thoughts to our key focus for 2016 and 2017. We have invested in people and technology to make it more efficient and effective for ourselves and our customers. Our sales team is excited to continue to roll-out this great product in 2017. And that’s just it – the initial customers we have signed will continue to grow in 2017 as we bring on more of their staff. We’ve given a new “hope” to doctors so that they can spend significantly less time on paperwork and have as we say “the freedom to focus on what matters most – their patients.”
  2. Scribe added a team of professionals to expand Scribe’s services in Coding, Billing, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Practice Management along with consulting services that include financial analysis, documentation workshops, pre-audit preparation with certified Recovery Audit Contractor auditors, fee schedule analysis, and workflow process analysis with written reports of recommendations for improvement.
  3. The enhancements to Scribe’s mobile app have improved the experience for all users, and new features were added that allow Doctors to review and approve their documents as well as view any document from their archives.
  4. We rebranded with a new logo and revised website that reflect the philosophy of keeping the technology simple and easy for our customers. Our website has grown to include articles about Scribe and healthcare that have been published in industry publications. We’ve also added case studies so you can learn how our partners have benefitted by using our solutions.

Working within the context of changes in our industry

The evolution of charting technology has allowed healthcare to find a better intersection of productivity and profit that allows the physician to focus on their patients when using Scribe technology.

What we’re excited about for 2017

Look for some great enhancements to Scribe Mobile:

♦ iWatch compatibility
♦ An Android version of the app
♦ Code Point: This is an innovative way for doctors to add coding to their documentation at the point of encounter
♦ Collaboration: This two-way communication tool will let physicians, referring physicians and patients collaborate and share information on the care of patients

In our back end office solutions, we’ll add QA auditing and exception management.

Improving the user experience with our Charting 2.0 solution will add even more functionality to our documentation services.

Our RCM department will grow and expand its offerings to both customers directly and to our MTSO partners. Using our expanded technology offerings we will do for the RCM space what speech recognition has done for transcription – make people more productive and get it done right the first time! We have exciting partnerships on deck that will help us expand quickly.

The Scribe leadership team wants to extend gratitude to our staff who has worked hard to offer the best experiences to our customers and to develop solutions and services to improve our offerings to you so that you can focus on what matters most – patient care.

As the year draws to a close, we find ourselves reflecting on the past year and those who have helped to shape our business. It’s been quite a year for us all! We hope that 2016 has been just as memorable for you, your colleagues and your loved ones.

We look forward to working with you in 2017 and the years to come.
